Long Acting Suspension for Injection (IM)
Antibacterial
 
Indication
Cattle, sheep, goat, pig:
Treatment of respiratory diseases caused by amoxicillin-sensitive bacteria and particularly pasteurellosis.
 
Dosage and Administration
Intramuscular route.
General Dose: 20 mg of Amoxicillin/kg body weight, as 1.5 mL of Amoxicillin suspension for injection (Vetrimoxin L.A.) per 10 kg bdy weight. This dose can be repeated 48 hours later if necessry. 
 
Precaution:
Shake well before use. Keep out of reach of children.
 
Caution:
Foods, Drugs and Devices and Cosmetics Act prohibits dispensing without prescription of a duly licensed veterinarian.
 
Withdrawal Period
Pigs: 8 days.
Cattle: 18 days.
Milk: 3 days
 
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 C.
