Antibacterial (Sulfonamide)
 
Indications:
Has been used in a wide variety of infections due to susceptible organisms particularly those of the urinary, respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts. Its main uses now is in Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, toxoplasmosis, and nocardiosis.
 
Precautions:
In severe allergy, bronchial asthma, impaired renal and hepatic function, glucose - 6 - phospate dehydrogenase deficiency, concomitant administration of pyrimethamine, regular hematological test during long term therapy should e performed. Because of the risk of crystalluria and adequate fluid intake should be maintained.

Seek medical attention immediately at the first sign of any adverse drug reaction.
 
Dosage and Administration:
One to two tablets twice daily or as prescribed by the physician.
 
Caution:
Foods, Drugs, Devices and Cosmetics Act Prohibits dispensing without prescription.
