Antiprotozoal
 
Inidcation:
Treatment of suspectible protozoal infections and in the treatment & prophylaxis of anaerobic bacterial infections.
 
Precuation:
Metronidazole should not be used to  patients with blood dyscrasias or with active disease of the central nervous system. Avoid use during pregnancy and lactation. Reduce dose on patients with liver disease and Moniliasis. Perform hematological test if used for more than 10 days.

For suspected adverse drug reaction, report to the FDA: www.fda.gov.ph 
Seek medical attention immediately at the first sign of any adverse drug reaction.
